ABOUT ELDER DR. LYNN STRANGE

Newly appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Destiny Changers International Bible Institute, Elder Dr. Lynn Strange is a dynamic and Anointed Preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, dedicated to proclaiming the transformative power of GOD’s Word. She accepted her Divine calling to ministry at an early age and was formally licensed as a Minister in April 2014, under the auspices of Word of Life Christian Center, under the esteemed leadership of Senior Pastor Mark D. Talbert.

 

In May 2019, Elder Strange was consecrated to the sacred Office of Evangelist through the Mount Calvary Holy Churches of America, under the distinguished leadership of His Grace, Presiding Prelate Bishop Alfred A. Owens Jr., D. Min., and the esteemed International First Lady, Co-Pastor Susie C. Owens. Continuing in her elevation, she was ordained to the Office of Elder in May 2022, within the Mount Calvary Holy Churches of America, under the visionary leadership of His Eminence, Presiding Prelate Bishop Herbert C. Crump Jr., and the revered International First Lady, Dawn Crump.

 

Elder Dr. Strange is a powerful voice for restoration and healing, a living testimony of GOD’s Yoke-Destroying, Burden-Removing, and Miraculous power to break the cycles of trauma.  As a survivor and overcomer of domestic violence, she stands as a beacon of hope to those seeking deliverance, embodying the biblical promise of transformation and renewal.

With over 35 years of professional experience, Elder Dr. Strange has emerged as a leading authority in the fields of domestic violence intervention, sexual assault, advocacy, and victim empowerment. She has dedicated her life’s work to advocacy, offering expert consultation, strategic interventions, and transformative solutions for individuals and organizations confronting these crises.

 

Christian Counseling & Holistic Healing

In addition to her work in advocacy, Elder Dr. Strange is a Christian Counselor specializing in integrating cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) strategies with theological and Biblical principles to support holistic healing and personal growth. Her approach merges evidence-based psychological techniques with spiritual formation, providing clients with a faith-based path to emotional well-being. Through her counseling practice, she equips individuals with the tools necessary to overcome emotional and psychological challenges while deepening their spiritual foundation.

 

Academic & Professional Credentials

Elder Dr. Strange holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, graduating with magna cum laude distinction, and a Master of Arts in Christian Care, earning summa cum laude honors. In February 2025, she was conferred the distinguished Honorary Doctor of Divinity from the School of the Great Commission Bible College & Seminary, under the esteemed leadership of Chancellor, His Grace, Bishop Winford Thomas, D.D.

Her professional and ministerial expertise has positioned her as an influential voice within judicial, governmental, and faith-based communities. She has served as a vital member of Prince George’s County, Maryland, Office of the State’s Attorney Domestic Unit, where she played a pivotal role in victim support and court advocacy. Her work encompassed guiding survivors through the judicial process, equipping them with tools to transition from victimization to empowerment, and facilitating access to critical resources such as transitional housing and restorative services. Through her unwavering commitment, she has helped countless individuals reclaim their dignity, autonomy, and strength.

 

As a renowned speaker and consultant, Elder Dr. Strange has delivered keynote addresses, empowerment seminars, and restorative justice workshops at national conferences, judicial forums, and academic institutions. She has been featured across various media platforms, including television, radio, print, and digital outlets, amplifying her message of advocacy, healing, and systemic change.

 

Ministry & Advocacy

In June 1999, Elder Dr. Strange launched a pioneering initiative dedicated to bridge awareness, advocacy, and eradication of domestic violence and sexual assault. Through her visionary enterprise, Inside Levels LLC, she provides confidential, structured, and evidence-based solutions tailored for individuals, corporate entities, healthcare institutions, law enforcement agencies, and non-profit organizations.
