About Pastor DeAnna L. Carl
My Story

Early Life

Head of Ministry School of Leadership (MSOL), Pastor DeAnna L. Carl, was born in Peoria, Illinois, to Levi and Linda Thomas. Growing up as a "daddy’s girl," she developed a profound bond with her father that profoundly influenced her character, confidence, and ambition. This relationship laid the groundwork for her intimate connection with her Heavenly Father, fueling her desire to seek God's presence and receive His anointing. This early spiritual foundation would eventually lead her to her installation and confirmation by Bishop Stephen Echols as a pastor at Greater Praise Temple in Davenport, Iowa but certified by Jehovah God.
Call to Ministry

At the age of 33, Pastor DeAnna accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and Lord, marking the beginning of her journey into ministry. Shortly thereafter, she was ordained as a minister at The River of Life Family Church in South Bend, Indiana. Here, she embraced her calling, which focused on prayer and prophetic intercession (Isaiah 59:16, Hebrews 4:16, Jeremiah 33:3), as well as preaching (Isaiah 61:1-3, 2 Timothy 4:2) and teaching (Deuteronomy 4:5, John 3:2, James 3:1). Over her 12 years at ROLF, Pastor DeAnna and her husband, Pastor Brent A. Carl, actively engaged in various ministries, including marriage groups, women and men’s team circles, intercessory teams, leadership training, and as directors over outreach programs for the incarcerated and homeless.
Training and Development

Pastor DeAnna's ministry training has been extensive. She has studied under notable figures such as Dr. Lester Sumrall and Bishop Ralph and Margaret Parker. Additionally, she trained for three years in prophetic worship and Theophostic healing at Voice Ministries, a satellite of IHOPKC. Her further development took place at Kingdom Impact Cultural Church in Elkhart, Indiana, where she focused on apostolic and prophetic ministry, emphasizing supernatural living. Moreover, she served on the ministerial staff at the First Church of Christ Holiness in Washington, D.C., while also working as a first responder chaplain with NLAC-D.A.R.M.O. under Chaplain Timothy Buffaloe. Her accumulated experiences and training culminated in her installation as a Pastor at Greater Praise Temple under Bishop Stephen Echols.
Current Ministry

In February 2022, Pastor DeAnna was led by the Holy Spirit to establish Apostolic Missionary Intercessor Alliance Ministries, Inc. (A.M.I.A.). This ministry is called to serve intercessor in all 50 states. A.M.I.A’s platform is for training intercessors and unlocking Kingdom builders into their God-given destinies through prophetic prayer and intercession. A.M.I.A.'s Kingdom mandate is comprehensive, focusing on training, teaching, rebuilding, restoring, healing, delivering, and interceding for end-time kingdom intercessors.
